MathsTest.org lets you challenge yourself against the clock to solve maths questions. You can configure your own test by selecting the 'Make My Own' option. This offers the flexibility to choose the operations, numbers and length of your test.

Alternatively you can try one of our predefined tests in the 'Around The World' or 'Safari' modes that have been developed in collaboration with UK Primary School teachers.

MathsTest.org has been designed to work on phones, tablets and computers.

This collection of tests was developed for Year 5/6 pupils (9-11 years old). As you progress down the list you collect a passport stamp at each country you visit, until eventually returning to the UK once all tests are completed. The tests get more difficult as you progress through them and may also help learn some flags of the world on the way. Tests include multiplication, division, square roots, square numbers and cube numbers (more details below).

Players who achieve full marks in the fastest time have their score recorded on the leader board. These records are stored within the browser so only appear on the computer/device used for the test. This is to encourage players to beat their own time and also compete for the leaderboard with peers on shared computers/devices. Clearing the browser memory will delete all best time records.

The Safari challenge is aimed at pupils in Year 3/4 (7-9 years old) and consists of a range of times tables tests where the objective is to complete the test to find an animal. Getting full marks on the test reveals the animal that you are searching for. The questions are displayed in a random order each time the test is attempted. If the player has entered a name, a record of the animals found is stored and is available to view by clicking the yellow button on the home page once their name is entered. These records are stored within the browser so only appear on the computer/device used for the tests. Clearing the browser memory will delete all of these records.
